What your ears are telling you is that it does not appreciate the loud noises that you are exposing them to. I have permament hearing damage from my playing in loud ensembles. Go get your ears checked by an ear doctor and wear earplugs. Your ear doctor can fit you with 'musician' earplugs which work better than regular foam plugs cause you can hear things better while playing. Don't mess around with the health of your ears; they are extremely fragile and heal slowly if not at all. I hear a constant high pitch in my head 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Be safe!!!
