Interesting post. I find it ironic that so many folks associate the genocide of the native Americans with the Spanish. Anyone who has visited Latin America would be astonished by how many Indians you actually see compared to Anglo-Franc America . Go to the countries north of the border and find that the Indian peoples represent less than 1% of the general population. In Mexico, for example approximately 30% of its people are Amerindian.
