I've been playing the same Cerveny "piggy" CC model for about 30 years and it has taken me all over the world. I won the Tanglewood fellowship on this horn and played it with the Boston Pops among other noted orchestras. They are spectacular horns and they are pretty consistent. They are also reasonably inexpensive compared to others and they come in a variety of sizes. They also have a wonderful color of sound. There are some professionals out there using these on a regular basis. I saw Mahler 7 with Chicago back in the 80's and Rex was using a large Cerveny for the part and he did a great job

Just my $0.02.
