My 14 year old daughter has a MW 25 that she has played on for 3 1/2 years (she started playing the tuba when she was 9!!). The tuba is not exactly a candidate for the Miss America pagent, but it plays very well. She has been having some problems with sluggish valves (plus old spring and loose linkages). I would like to get the valves ang "mechanics" overhauled.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a repair shop in the Miami area?
I really do not want to ship it away for this work.
BTW, I am a +28 year Besson euphonium player (and my 12 year old son is in his 3rd year of playing his own Euphie!!).
