An airbag is a 5 or 6 liter bag that you fill with air and then inhale from it. By inhaling carbon dioxide rather than oxygen, you can do deep breathing without hyper-ventilating. This is a great warm-up; somewhat like streatching for an athlete. Their normal use is in the medical field to help people with lung problems rehabilitate.
