Let's see. An obviously well off person is walking down the street and you observe a $5 bill fall out of his pocket. Do you keep it and say your little mantra "Who cares if some rich guy from Michigan... etc."? Say what you want, but someone invested time and money exposing the west to B&S tubas. Either way you are stealing.
Legally he can stop the import of any new B&S tuba into North America that wasn't purchased through him. So if somebody follows your advice and gets a great deal over in Germany, what kind of a savings is it for the horn to sit in customs because they legally can't bring it into the United States?
Capitalism works when you vote with your wallet. Capitalism also provides us with many choices because merchants want our business. I like the many choices I have in tubas these days.
