The 2145 is deceptive. Because of the way it is wrapped, it looks like a compact horn, but it's a full 4/4, easily the size and tone equivalent of a big horn like the 25. I don't own one, but the guy who sits beside me in the local community band has one, and I've loved it every time I've played it. He has one of the richest tones I've ever heard, and he can do things with pedal tones on that horn that are amazing. I don't deny that there are better horns, but a good 2145 is an excellent instrument.
