Are you sure Wes' horn has a 5th piston? I don't remember seeing that. I know he was instrumental in getting Yamaha to develop the dependent 5th valve option for the 321, located in the 4th valve slide, back in the early 80's. Are you sure that the 5th he has on his horn isn't one of those? I remember that horn well back from my days in the Motor City and I'm curious if he's done a modification to it that I'm not aware of.
