Hallo,
since the last five years the oval baritones are much better as the older models. Miraphone had done a lot of work by the development of these horns (oval bariton, oval kaiser-bariton).
The intonation is very well and the sound is in the deep and high wide and open.
The new euphonium 1258A is also better as the older model 1255A. The sound is open and the intonation is very good.
