I have found that the Mel Culbertson 6/4 VMI CC (PT-7 look-alike) has an unbelieveably SHARP G at the top of the staff (not unlike many 6/4's but exaggerated). The only way around it is 4th valve, which is a whole new disaster. Great sounding horn...other than that pretty big obstacle.
