At rehearsal last night I was playing particularly wet. Not sure why, but I was burbling and dumping a lot. It occurred to me that bags of silica gel are used to keep packages of various kinds dry. Has anyone ever used a bag of it in the horn (in storage, of course, not while playing) to dry things out? If so, what were the results?
