B&S Symphonie: 5 rotors (clock springs) w/5th on back, left side; 16 5/8" bell w/large throat; clear lacquer finish (about 60%); and "solo" bore (.668-.825"). Extremely graduated bore (through the valve section) results in very mellow sound. Better-than-avg intonation, esp in 5th partial. High register sings. Includes hard case w/wheels.

Meinl Weston 45S: 5 rotors (uniball linkage); 16 1/2" bell w/large throat; clear lacquer finish (about 99%); and graduated bore (.768-.846"). Very even response throughout entire range. Big low register, yet maintains German quality of sound. Hand-picked by Sam Pilafian 9 years ago. Formerly owned by Velvet Brown. Includes hard case w/wheels.
