Ya know, I can get into a zillion details about the 'brunner vs the Gronitz. They are VERY similar, I like the Gronitz low notes better. The low F and E just POP out of the horn. The sound is big and broad, with plenty of focus. The sample I'm playing is unlacquered. I want to play a lacquered one (Tommy Johnson has it right now), and a silver one. But if the two F's I sold are any indiaction, they will be just as good. The deciding factor was this horn just FEELS more right for me.
