Hi all, I have had my used Yamaha 641 for 2 years now and for it being around 20 years old, it is in great shape. The only question about is is that on the larger tubes (from right where you rest you hand/arm to the bell) There is a purple discoloration. It is not solid, more like a hit or miss fog under the laquer (sp?). One repair guy up here said it might be the de-greaser they used in the late seventies, early eighties before it was outlawed. Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced it themselves? Is it possibly damaging to the horn? Thanks - Ryan
