I too have a 'floater' policy on my homeowner's insurance policy. It costs $57/ year, and covers the tuba full purchase value with case as well. To qualify, I had to send a sales reciept for the horn. The only stipulation is, as previously mentioned, you must be playing the horn for $ if an incident happens.
