The playing characteristic of each instrument, no matter what anyone says, will depend on the mouthpiece you play and what you expect to hear.
That being said, asking for an opinion will get only that. Each respondent will have an instrument he/she likes and will give you an opinion on that instrument.
You should play as many instruments as you can and buy the one you like the best. If you only have access to 3 instruments to play, pick out the best one and make it work for you.
The choice of mouthpiece will also make each instrument play differently so try to have a mouthpiece you like to try out the horns.
