Miraphone 186CC 5valves, $4000...includes hard case and Reunion Blues gig bag. I attached a response I saved from previous negotiations. That should answer any questions if anyone might be interested!

I bought the tuba from Charlie Krause at the Woodwind and Brasswind in
South Bend, Indiana during February of last year. I've used it exclusively since
that time for all of my tuba ensembles, solos, and of course my orchestra
work. There are a few dings and scratches, but as you surely know, it's hard
to keep a horn in good shape with careless trombonists flying by all the
time!!! ;-) I just wanted to let you know that it is NOT is mint condition,
but it is in NEAR perfect shape. You probably won't be able to see the
dings and scratches on the photos. BUT, there are a few on there.

Also, it is a "s" model horn. Personally, price was not an issue when I
bought this tuba. I tried upwards of 10 different horns when I decided to
buy. Without asking about price, I had it narrowed to this horn and a Meinl
Weston 2155. Of course, the difference in price (about $3000, if i remember
correctly) made the 186 a STEAL.

Now, I live in Winnsboro, TX. It's a SMALL town about 100 miles east of
Dallas. If you were wondering about shipping costs, Amtrack sounds like the
cheapest way to go. I would feel pretty good about it as well. The hard
case and gig bag both work really well, so we SHOULD be able to avoid any damage
to the horn, just for future reference.
