Well I recently made my regular trip to the used cd store and scored on a LSO/Faberman Mahler 6 recorded in 80. Wow! Great playing on this one guys. From the year it was recorded it seems I am late to find it but I never knew it existed. John Fletcher is breath taking on this one. The Finale solo is the best I have heard to date, totally musical as only he could do it. I am not sure if it is available online but if it is pick it up! This is a chance to hear some real class playing all around the orchestra.
