Oh, is THAT what he's doing with his left hand! :) It's even stranger that the line drawing of the 5 valve F is labeled "F-TUBA 4 VENTILES". Maybe what we interpret as the 5th valve is really a paprika grater...
Still a really nice book for learning F (and conversational Magyar), though.
