How many of those guys that replied are in professional orchestras? You can't get a tight enough sound on any BBb or CC that an F can get. If you went into an audition and played Hungarian March on a CC, you'd be laughed right out of there. In this day and age, you need 2 horns, and 2 contrasting horns, a small one and a big one.
