Truth be told. the horn it's self was a find. The dent work, (it was a mangled mess when I got it) valve replating (twice to get it right)polishing and overall tweaking was a couple of grand. Still could do some slide work to get the intonation better. It's just a great big american tuba with a sound to match. You do have to work to play this horn in but the results are worth it. ~Dave
