well, if your just looking for a good CC for less than $4000, you should be able to find several horns on ebay, Dillon, baltimore brass, or tubadave's site.
I could be wrong, but I think I remember seeing some used Kalisons for around that price, and those have 5 valves. Another poster mentioned the Conn 3j, that's a good tip.
Also look at the Weril. as they are a real Bargain at less than $2000.
I like cerveny piggy's ($2000-$3000 used, $4000 new) also the cerveny 601 is a very affordable big horn
Somebody give ME $4000, and I'll find you a nice horn
