I have a Musica BBb which I bought at Dillons. Matt told me that he believed it to be a Cervany, but I wasn't sure if he just thought that or knew for sure. Either way I understand that all Musica's are stencil horns that UMI has made to be able to sell rotary instruments. Curiously, my horn is supposed to be equivalent to the Cervany 781 (which is a 681 in rose brass) but it has a 17.75" bell vs. the 15.75" of the Cervany, and it has nickle silver slides, valves, and leadpipe, and unibal linkage, which I believe the Cervany doesn't have. The price, including a case, was several hundred $ less than a 781 would have cost from WW and BW. I bought it because I liked the way it played better than the Yamaha 641, M-W 25, Jupiter 582, Besson 993, or any of the other BBbs that they had at Dillons at the time.
