You mentioned you were interested in this horn as a second CC tuba. I am curious as to what you would be matching it with? To me the 861 is kind of an all around horn if you will. It is based on the old Alex style if I am not mistaking. Matt Walters at Dillon music used to own one of these horns that he really admired(and I am sure made a few tweaks to) maybe he can shed some light on this tuba for you if he see's this thread.
