You can give Scott a call and ask for the technical side. Warning though, he prefers the musicians think like musicians and let him handle the howto part. From what I can gather by visual observation, the rims appear to be the same. The backbore opens up earlier in the shank. Could be an optical illusion, but it looks like the bowl on the 30H is slightly more bowled at the bottom than the HII.
Whatever the technical side is, the mouthpiece works great. Names of pleased customers which I have heard dropped include Gene Pokorny, Chris Hall, Rex Martin, and our own Jay Bertolet.
