Well, nobody's said anything yet, huh?

I've used Nevr-Dull on raw brass parts of one of my tubas (down inside the bell, for one) and it did a wonderful job -- the bell actually glowed a golden color for the first time since I've owned it. BUT, I'm not positive whether it did any of the type of scratching that would make a difference on the exterior of the horn.

Try a bit of it in an inconspicuous place on yours to see whether it adds any scratches. The chemicals impregnated into the wadding are what do the real work, and it might be possible to apply some of the stuff with the wadding, then buff it with a normal cloth.

One thing's for sure -- it will make it shiny again.
