Well like you my Holton excepts European sized shanks basically. I full around with others but a larger shank seems to do the trick. My 30H is a "A" shank and I also have a 30C "E" that I use on my MW 45SLP F. I put the 30C in the Holton and it was a much nicer fit. This leads me to believe that I need to get a 30H with the "E" shank.
