The Jupiter JCB-582 is a fine horn and at $2995 with case, is a better deal than a St Pete. Start a race if you will. Have your local Jupiter dealer order a new sousaphone bell for the one in the picture versus ordering a new bell for a St Petersburg tuba. What kind of inventory of replacement parts is there available here in the USA for the St Petersburg? Seeing as Jupiter keeps a large supply of parts in stock right here in the USA, they will likely have one (a bell) in stock. From my experience with Jupiter, they would likely replace the bell free of charge anyway.
