When I first got my mute, I was in touch with Donna Altieri. She said that if she had the measurements, she could make a padded bag to protect it...and It wasn't going to be that expensive to do it. I never did any more work than just gathering information to see if it could be done, though. I'm not sure if she's still into making custom stuff like that, but you may want to give her a call.
