I purchased a used Miraphone 188 from the Tuba Exchange, and was very pleased with the result. I've also tried several of their Kalison tubas, and was impressed with their playability at a competitive price. Also, I use a Tuba Exchange Marcinkiewicz Rose Concert Hall mouthpiece for some of my playing. Overall, I believe the Tuba Exchange has developed some very good tubas and accessories. That is not to say that every model or individual tuba in stock there is a good one or suitable for a particular individual's needs, but I know that is also true at every other tuba store that I have shopped at.
