Doesn't seem likely. All the Musicas I've ever seen said "Made in Czechoslovakia" on them. Perhaps newer examples were made in the former East Germany, but I'd doubt it. The Czech horns would be cheaper, for one thing.

The one I owned was an old-fashioned version of a modern Amati or Cerveny. There were differences in certain details, of the sort that might include a different bell diameter. For example, my horn had clock-spring valves and was clearly made long after they had been discontinued on Cervenys.

The construction details were a clearer statement of the maker's identity than the label, which said "Musica / Austria." But the receiver was stamped with the above inscription.
