I purchased one of the Weril CC tubas from Dave Fedderly about 3 months ago. So far I have enjoyed using it. I am learning CC tuba with this horn and the reason I purchased it was because of the great deal, plus I didn't have a great quintet horn. I find it pretty easy to play in the low register as well as the high. The sound is nice and compact and would be a nice horn for solo. I wouldn't use it for a community band or orchestra though. For my tastes it is just too small. I am curious to hear what others have to say about it???
