Go get some Wenol, also sold under the name Semicrome Polish, and do the whole horn with it. It is the least abrasive of any of them, and includes a tarnish remover. It's not cheap (a large tube of Wenol is about ten bucks), but you only have to do it once every five years or so. Both are hard to find, but worth the search.
Brasso is like rubbing your prize possession with fine sand.
