Every time I have done brass quintet concerts,
the kids ALWAYS went ga-ga (excuse the expression)
over the tuba. *Especially* when you play is
loudly--not next to their ears.
The kids always wanted the tuba player's
autograph (but never the horn players *sniffle*)
One valuable thing I did learn was that if you
get the kids involved, they really love it
