I say play what you're comfortable on. . . I don't plan on ever activly playing F tuba, I haven't found very many F's that I liked at all while I have found a few very good Eb's, I don't know why but for some reason I never have been able to set my brain for F tuba, do Eb BBb and CC fine but can't seem to get F right in my head. . .
just play what you like and play the music, the rest should work itself out
