That's all I keep in my shop. No silver polish can work without either chemically stripping off tarnish (leaving ugly "white" unoxidized silver exposed) or by being abrasive. If I wanted to polish a sousaphone (hmmm...just not one of the things that I've wanted to do, lately), I would want to get DONE...and that means in ten to thirty minutes, rather than three hours. The exquisite polishes are certainly appropriate for the finishing touches on $4000 flutes, but I don't think I'd want to use up a couple of bottles of premium polish on a sousa...even if if was MY sousa and even if I was as proud as the dickens of it, as you are - and as you should be.
