Its been a while since I've given advice. The best thing is to think song. Get the melody of something nailed down; play it down in your money register; play it an octave lower. Get comfortable with it where the partials are wide. Then buzz your pitches accurately on your mouthpiece. Buzz it in the staff, then an octave up. Imagine your entertaining a large audience while buzzing, and focus on the song. Once you have it nailed down on the mouthpiece, pick up your horn, and let it be a mirror to reflect the image that you have created in your mind. If you need a bit of technical help, shift up or down in your mouthpiece to utilize a narrower diameter of the rim. Its kind of like changing to a smaller mouthpiece. Then, if your still having trouble, wear tighter jockeys!
