Buy yourself a new Heleberg and keep the old one for marching band. You could still use the one you have if you can paint a little bit of clear nail polish over the scratch. You may even be able to fill it in a little so it doesn't scratch your lip. Or you could very very very carefully file it if it has a sharp edge then use the nail polish. you could even use designer colors if you wanted. Maybe you school colors!
