If what "Sterling" says below is true, and you are still in high school, the PT-7P (and the Mel Culbertson CC) will both probably be too big for you. Cliche time: Bigger ain't always better. If you're set on B&S (and pistons) try a PT-4P. For starters, it's cheaper and it's easier to play which means you'll have a much better chance of making some music on it.

Don't look past the venerable old Miraphone either. I used an old Miraphone 186 thru my last year of high school and ALL of my undergraduate degree. Did me just fine. Conductor of the college orchestra never complained about not hearing me or not liking my sound. Used it for casual orchestra auditions and subsequently, used it for professional work. Same story, never had trouble keeping up.
