I believe Roger Bobo was an Interlochen Concerto winner in 1956. He performed the 2nd and 3rd mvts. of the VW Concerto on his Heissner CC tuba. This was the probable beginning of his awesome professional reputation. The word was spread by returning Interlochen campers.
