I've played the Meinl Weston F(45slp)at Dillon Music in NJ. I thought it was a great horn. I do own an F tuba....and no not the Meinl Weston. I play the Yamaha 822 F tuba (hush builds over the crowd) and I found that the Meinl was very easy to get a nice dark sound out of. For me the low range was a little sketchy BUT that may have just been the fact that I never played on one before that time. It's a nice horn. Give one a toot! OH....and it is a fairly big f tuba. It feels and sorta sounds like a small CC tuba.
