I have to agree, the Geib is best for me as well. Velvety, dark and even through the entire range. For me it has less "bite" than the Hbg II. I also have a heavy weight H II and a Hbg IIF. The Geib is by far the best for all around playing. You're quite right not too many folks know about the Geib, Jim Gray turned me on to them and I'm VERY glad he did! Are you using it on a rotary valved horn?
