Whan I was at the Franfurter Music fair last march in germany I spoke to Walter Nirschl. After I tried his magnificent York copy I talked to him about the problems I had with my new Hirsbrunner HB 20. From time to time my piston were sticky, and I found that very annoying. He told me that he was the one that made the pistons for Hirsbrunner and advised me to use the light piston oil from Hetman. He even gave me a botle to try at home, and it worked.
I'm just curious about one thing: synthetic valve oil, does that mean with silicons??
