You have to experiment to get the right oil for you and your current horn. There seems to be an interaction between a person's saliva and the different alloys of the pistons. Over the years, my personal horns have each required different oils to give the feel that I like. I once saw a viscosity (resistance to flow) chart in a Trumpet Journal. Al Cass was right in the middle. As an inexpensive brand, that may be a good place to start. Try the cheaper stuff first!
By the way, wipe your valves and casings out with something like alcohol between different brands. Especially between synths. and petro brands. If there is a mechanical problem, you'll have to get a repairman to see to it. i.e. all the valves work well but one, etc.
