There is a sort of "old-fashioned appearing" brand (has that old strong valve oil kerosene odor) called Blue Juice. A friend of mine who owns a VERY expensive handmade trumpet says that it is the most "forgiving" of all valve oils. (He is a superb trumpeter, also.)
However, you will get so many different answers to your post that you might as well had not asked the question.

Of the synthetics, I have personally had good luck with "red" "Spacefiller" for many applications, but I certainly do not "worship" it.

CHANGE OF SUBJECT: Maybe the oil isn't the issue. Maybe your valve casings oxydized while the instrument was on the shelf waiting to be sold. If the surfaces of the casings are a little rough from oxydation, probably no oil will offer complete satisfaction, and you may need to have the casings professionally serviced.
