No problem, the difference in a "Contrabass Tuba" and a "Bass Tuba" is that the latter is generally considered the higher of the two instruments. I believe the practice was started by Wagner who specified between Bass Tuba (generally an F tuba) and Contrabass Tuba (generally a BBb tuba) in his orchestral scoring. Hence, the Vaughan-Williams is titled "Concerto for Bass Tuba" and is written for a smaller instrument, either Eb or F. Of course, none of these definitions ever seem to be written in stone so don't take the designation as uniformly accurate. However, it seems to hold in most cases.
