Due to popular demand, Miraphone is once again producing the 184 - but only as a CC (I think...' not certain).
Minor differences include a very slightly wider final bell flare dimension, a (to go along with popular trends) GG whole tone 5th valve length, and (again, ' not certain) slightly heavier gauge metal (as other recent Miraphones).
I have (one each) a 5V 184-CC and a 4V 184-BBb that I will be offering for sale in a couple of months. Both have tight quiet valves and are "straight", but have cosmetic issues (lacquer on exterior bows and bells) to be addressed prior to them being offered for sale. Further, I will be converting the CC's 5th valve length to the popular GG-whole tone length, to go along with trends. The CC has a new case with wheels. The BBb has a terrible old case (or no case). Both will be offered in very handsome condition in 100% mechanical condition, and both date to the '70's.
