I worked for Willis Music Publishing, the house that publishes the Thompson books, and I can say that we never stopped getting calls about those books. They have even retooled the graphics a little to make it more 21st century-friendly. Great system.
I also recommend the Dozen-A-Day books by Edna Mae Burnam and also pub'ed by Willis. The later books in the series are a great daily exercise.
