actually, maybe i got my jargon wrong (or i'm confused). I wouldn't want to re-use the mirafone linkage parts, i was wondering if after you remove the Mirafone steel balls and retapped the hole to 4-40 on the valve side, is there enough clearance to screw the Super Link on for it not to be in the way of operating smoothly. (the "adjustable" part of the dubro links is definitely in the way) Errrrr, uhhhhhhhh, or are the Super Links roughly the same size as the minibals on NEW mira tubas????
