With all due respect, I will take exception to your comment.
I probably should have pointed out that I am well passed that point in one’s life where practicing is of great importance. The fact is that most of my music-school classmates probably don’t even know what closet their ax is in-----if they still own one!
As an adult who maintains a professional life (not related to music,) and has had all the commensurate responsibilities of job and family, I am happy to be able to maintain any sort of practice regimen. Furthermore, it was only after ending 30 years of self-employment, and getting on a nine-to-five schedule, that I was able to get back to sitting down with Arban and the boys; the horn only came out of the bag for gigs.
Trust me when I tell you that I do not need my attitude adjusted.
